Our Story
Founded by Nick and Jill Gardner, EFPF Ltd was created to address a growing global problem: the massive waste of water and energy caused by traditional pool filtration systems.
Nick, a chartered accountant (ACCA), brings over 30 years of experience in filters, pumps, and water-related products, along with 18 years of successfully running his own businesses. As both Director and Company Secretary, he ensures product innovation and strong operational standards.
Why We Created the Eco Pool Filter
Across southern Europe, more than 45 billion litres of water are wasted each year due to backwashing sand and glass filters.
Pools run for 6–8 hours a day in summer, consuming unnecessary electricity.
Traditional filters do not remove fine particles, meaning pools require more chemicals and maintenance.
We knew there had to be a better way.
After 18 months of rigorous testing, the Eco Pool Filter was born — a simple, highly effective unit designed to sharply reduce water and energy use while improving pool clarity.
